SUCCESS! This tote bag is a slightly larger version of the kids’ rectangular totes. Resized to include double straps that can be hung over the shoulder, this handy tote bag is excellent to use for lunch/coffee dates, an evening at the movies or simply to show off during a stroll at your neighborhood weekend flea market.

Customised for the lady whose daughters are already proud owners of the kids’ tote bags, this one has a roomy inner main compartment to fit a novel or two, your purse (or even a small clutch!), keys, a mini water tumbler and has a total of FOUR pockets to hold all your other necessities and gadgets. It can also fit an iPad and still has room for whatever else that you absolutely must bring.

Instead of a plain-looking zipper, this bag closes with a pastel peach button. This tote bag has “boxed” bottom corners to help it “stand up”. I’ve also used cotton batting in between the fabrics to give this bag more shape yet still soft to touch.

I’m just so glad I got the measurements right and it turned out proportionate! Now it’s off to bed for me!
